Norman Southgate Memorial Meeting weekend of racing.  Further sponsorship deals announced for Fenland Grass Track Club in 2008 season.

Following on from the two excellent sponsorship deals already announced, the Fenland Grass Track Club (FGTC) is pleased to announce two further exciting sponsorship packages for the 2008 season and also the early details for their first meeting in June 2008.

Norcam, the multi faceted First Aid company now based in March, Cambridgeshire have renewed their sponsorship deal with the club for 2008.  They will again sponsor the youth racing at both the clubs meetings in 2008. This furthers the links between the club and Norcam who already supply the Emergency First Aid cover at all the FGTC events.

Norcam is now under new management with former employee John McDonnell taking over the Company.  On announcing the deal John said, “When the previous owners of Norcam decided to sell up to work in other areas I was happy to buy them out of the successful company and set up on my own.  We will still provide the Emergency First Aid cover for the FGTC meetings, and I wanted to keep the good working relationship established between the Norcam and FGTC going.  The youth riders show such enthusiasm we wanted to continue our support and further encourage them and in the same way give our company a higher profile.”

Norcam is made up of Norcam Ambulance Service, Norcam Event Medical Services and Norcam First Aid Training Services.  The main focus of the company is to provide ambulance cover.  Norcam undertakes training with over 1500 attendees so far on courses ranging from emergency first Aid to full technical skills.  They have provided medical cover for many large companies including Tesco, Microsoft, Citibank, Unilever and Mercedes.

The range of jobs covered by Norcam Event Medical Services varies from a single first aider at a village fete to 10 ambulances and 25 staff at various sites for a large defence contractor.  They have a lot of experience in the field of Motor Sports and will also offer a consultancy services when planning larger events.  The ambulance service has a range of fully equipped and staffed ambulances for a variety of functions from patient transport to Private Health care contracts.  For more information about the company they can be contacted on 01354 659575. or 07920762904  or email on john@Norcam-Event-Medical-Services.co.uk.

The deal will involve the individual trophies presented to the first three in every youth class at both of the FGTC meetings.  There will also be an overall series winner in each class with points taken from all of the meetings; this will be called the Norcam Youth Challenge Series 2008.  The series will be run in conjunction with the JRM 250cc Challenge Series, the Speedway Service Ltd 500cc Solo series and the Speedway Service Ltd 350cc Solo series which were announced earlier in the year.  The presentation for these series will be at the clubs last meeting over the weekend 18th/19th October 2008.

Plans are now in full swing for the Clubs first weekend of racing in 2008, which will be the Norman Southgate Memorial Meetings.  The club will be back at the Runcton Holme, Nr Kings Lynn venue which was used in October 2007 but after some work done by the farmer we are looking to run on a much larger track.
